Birthday Party!!!

PARTEHHHHH! This is what life's all bout righttttt?! About...like....uh......a week ago or something, one of my buddies turned, can you guess? 15!!!! Since like one of the only places you can go to have a party is the Baku Entertainment Center, this is where he had his party!!!! It's kinda smoky, as all of Baku is, but it's still hecka fun! =) There are drinks, (don't worry, I only sampled the Pepsi, nothin with alcohol) bowling, pool, and video games, but those cost mula, so we didn't bother with that. I was SO awful at bowling, but I had a blast! OH YEH! I was pretty unreliable when playing my game. A couple times I got strikes, while a few others I made gutter balls on both tries! Mostly, I only managed to knock over around 5 pins each time I was up. My friend who turned 15 is Lucas, from Austria. He's in M4 at TISA, and in my class; M4B. Each grade, or level is split into two classes: A and B. Some of the guys were experts at bowling, as there isn't much else for them to do around here, cuz they don't go shopping. TOP: This is a picture of me and some of my friends. The B-day kid isn't in this picture, though he's in some pics below. Top left: With hat, Amy. She's Korean. She's cool and fun to hang out with. To right of her:Aase, she's Norwegian and one of my best friends. Almost all Norwegian people are blond, it's crazy! Next over:Quitterie, she's French. She's just...crazy! It's true when people say French people are forward. They're not embarrassed about silly things like Americans at all. Sharmeen is next to her. Her and her sister Shirine are from Pakistan. They're twins and both in my class. Farid is next to her. He's from here, or rather, Azerbaijan. He looks a bit tall in this pic. Though he's tall, he's not THIS tall. I'm pretty sure he was standing on a chair or something, here. Of course, in the striped shirt you see, MWA!!!! Then, to the right if me is Hunter. He's not in my class like these guys. He's in M4A. Saying he's mental is a understatement. He's just Uber mental/crazy...but hilarious at the same time.

Here again are Quitterie and Amy. The other girl is Katya. She's from Alaska, and this is her first year here in Azerbaijan as well. And, she's a vegetarian! She's in M4A though, not my class.

Here's Aase, Sharmeen, and Quitterie with the birthday boy Lucas! He jumped up behind them for this picture, which is why he looks...weird? Tall?

CHEESE, EVERYONE!!!

Here's this one kid Marcel just being weird!

Here's more weirdness!!! Why can't anyone just be normal? Lincoln in orange, Farid in white, Hunter in the triangle, and Sharmeen peering out from behind them. Don't worry, she's not crazy like them. :)

Marlys,
It's nice to see pictures of all your weird friends.
I expect you to become an expert bowler. I'll see if I can sign you up on a teen pro-bowling circuit when you get back.

Delighted to see the post about partying with the very wide range of places kids from, etc. ... and even a teeny sprinkle of info about your school! Keep up the blogs, you two ... they are avidly read!
